Ladakh (meaning “land of high mountain passes”) is a mountainous region in North India. Leh, the main city is situated at 3500 m above the sea level nestled in the great Himalayan, Karakoram, Zansker and Ladakh ranges. Ladakh is known for remote mountain beauty, studded with Monasteries and stupas. Ladakh is often referred as “Little Tibet” due to its geographical proximity and strong to Tibetan culture.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Chandigarh to Manali

Today after arrival at Chandigarh airport / station and you would be greet by our representative then get ready to begin your Leh journey by Cab & depart for Manali via Pandoh Dam, Maa Baglamukhi Ropeway, Kullu Shawls Factory and River Rafting Point.

Checkin to the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day 02: Manali to Jispa

Today Morning ready to depart Jispa from Manali crossing Atal Tunnel and also admiring the areas of Lahaul Valley (Siss, Tandi, Keylong).

Evening reach at Jispa. Have checkin at camp / hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Jispa – via Baralacha Pass – Leh (Alt. 3500 Mtrs)

After breakfast take adventurous road from Jispa to leh, crossing passes Nakeela Pass, Lanchungla pass Baralacha pass & Taglang La (Alt. 5328 metres), Skyangchu Thang and Indus valley. This route is the one of the world highest and most difficult highway , you will find lots of beautiful landscape during passing this adventurous highway.

Evening reach at Leh. Have check in at the Hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

About Ladakh: Ladakh covers about 45,000 square miles (117,000 square km) and contains the Ladakh Range, which is a southeastern extension of the Karakoram Range, and the upper Indus River valley. Ladakh is one of the highest regions of the world. Its natural features consist mainly of high plains and deep valleys. The high plain predominates in the east, diminishing gradually toward the west. In southeastern Ladakh lies Rupshu, an area of large, brackish lakes with a uniform elevation of about 13,500 feet (4,100 metres). To the northwest of Rupshu lies the Zaskar Range, an inaccessible region where the people and the cattle remain indoors for much of the year because of the cold.

Day 04: Leh Sham Valley Sightseeing

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll drive to Sightseeing. Today we’ll cover Spituk Monastery, the famous Magnetic Hills, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River near Nimoo and visit Pather Sahib an important Sikh Pilgrimage Site and Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace . In the evening, you will return to the Leh. If the time permits you can explore the local market of the city and buy some souvenirs for your loved ones. Return to the hotel in the evening and enjoy the dinner.

Day 05: Leh – via Khardungla Pass – Nubra (115 Km / 7-8 Hrs)

After early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Nubra Valley (also known as valley of flowers) via Khardungla Pass (The Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). On the way to Nubra Valley explore Deskit & Hunder Villages and also experience camel Safari on double Hump camels in Sand Dunes. Nubra Valley is one of the interior region of Leh Ladakh and famous for its location and sand dunes, this area is the cold desert of Leh Ladakh, and Nubra is also Importance for Indian army for its important position as this is the gateways of Sichen border. Spend your Memorable time at Nubra Valley and explore the unexplored here.

Overnight stay in hotel / camp at Diskit / Hundur.

Day 06: Nubra – Turtuk – Thang – Nubra ( 160 Km Round Trip)

After breakfast drive to Turtuk, it will be full day journey to Turtuk. Spend your day here and then evening return to hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at Nubra Hotel.

Turtuk district of Ladakh UT, India. It is located in the Nubra tehsil, 205 km from the Leh town, on the banks of the Shyok River. Turtuk gram panchayat is the northernmost village of India. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic area. It is predominantly a Muslim village, and residents speak languages including Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. Turtuk is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier.

Main Attractions: Thang INDO – POK border, Tyakshi Village, Turtuk Village & Balti Culture, Museum & Scenic Valley’s.

Day 07: Pangong Tso (via Nubraiyok Village ) (140 Km / 7-8 Hrs)

After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake sightseeing Via Siyok Village. Reach on the Banks of Pangong Lake and appreciate its charming beauty. After having spend your beautiful time there, overnight stay at Pangong.

Pangong Lake: It is situated at an alt. of 4,270 ft. & 134 km long which forms a part of India-China Border. Due to its clear water it reflects the sky color giving the effect of changing colors of lake like from blue to turquoise / light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winter, despite being saline water.

Day 08: Pangong Tso – via Changla Pass – Leh Return

Today Morning after having breakfast check out from Pangong and return to Leh via Changla Pass have halt and photography at this area and visit Changla Baba Place situated almost 17,0000/- feet of sea level. Spend your time there and then return to Leh. Also visit on the Way Thisky Monastery, Rencho School, Shey Palace. Then return to Leh hotel and have dinner.

Day 09: Leh – Tanglangla Pass – Panag – Jispa Return

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive to Jispa on the way you can stop for photography at Tanglangla pass, Baralacha pass and Sarchu, you will be more comfortable today to face altitude challenge. So today you can take enough time to spend in this altitude region.

Evening reach at Jispa, have dinner and overnight stay at Jispa.

Day 10: Jispa to Chandigarh Transfer ( 400 Km 8-10 Hrs)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel / camp and departure for Chandigarh. Drop at the airport / station or hotel.
